3. Identity Verification
We collect government-issued ID documents and biometric data (selfies) solely for identity verification purposes. This data is encrypted at rest and processed by our verification partners. We retain verification documents for a maximum of 12 months after account closure.
4. Background Checks
With your explicit consent, we conduct background checks through Checkr, Inc. Results are used solely to verify eligibility on the Platform and are kept confidential. You have the right to dispute inaccurate information.
5. Information Sharing
We share your information with service providers who assist in operating the Platform (Supabase, Postmark, Checkr, Stripe, DocuSign, Escrow.com). We may share information when required by law or to protect our rights. We never share your information with advertisers.
6. Data Security
All documents are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Access to sensitive data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by contacting privacy@dealvr.io. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Platform functionality.
9. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
